We had to reschedule twice, but it was so worth it! Needless to say, this is a beautiful family. These two kids were so curious about my camera and so sweet and engaging.
The little boy just cracked me up when he asked me my first name. I told him. It wasn't good enough, he wanted my last name too. I told him and he proceeded to look back at his mom as if to indicate that her story checked out. It was completely adorable.
We chose Knoxville Botanical Garden as our location for the maternity photography session since it was a good distance for the family to travel with kids. We had a beautiful evening - albeit exceptionally warm. The Cross family were troopers and braved the heat without complaint!
The mom, Caroline, wore a brand new dress from my client closet. The Katya Ruffle Maxi Dress in Dusty Pink from Baltic Born. I'll link it at the bottom.
We started in this beautiful shaded location under a tree.
Then we moved over to this little stone ledge for a few more fun prompts and snuggles.
Then we gave the kids and dad a break and focused on mom.
All in all, it was a great session with lots of smiles and laughs and joy. If you're interested in booking your own session, I'd love to talk to you!
